Koh Lipe

Koh Lipe is a tiny island situated at Satun Province in the south of Thailand. Mainland’s west coast and just 35km from Langkawi, Malaysia. The nearest spot on the mainland is Pak Bara.

Koh Lipe is one of 51 islands that make up Tarutao Marine National Park, which is scattered across the southern Thai Andaman Sea. This national park also includes islands like Koh Adang, Koh Rawi, and Koh Tarutao, among many other small uninhabited islands.

Thailand’s marine conservation laws dominate the Tarutao Marine National Park. The federal government heavily regulates fishing and waste disposal .there is coral reefs to explore by snorkelling and scuba diving.

PATTAYA BEACH is located in the south of Koh Lipe.
SUNRISE BEACH is located on the east side of Koh Lipe and near with village of Chao Ley.
KATA BEACH is located on the northern side facing Koh Adang.
SUNSET BEACH is located west of the island, which faces into the sunset, According name of a beach sunset.

Today we will take you viewing magnificent view of Koh Lipe, by taking a plane from Bangkok to Hatyai airport.

Our flight will depart at 06.30 am from Bangkok and arriving at Hatyai airport at 08.00 Am.

Before boarding a plane.

After arrived at Hatyai airport, then we take a van transfer to Pakbara pier approximately 2 hours.

The plane will take time 1.20 hour to Hatyai airport.

We booked a car and boat (join ticket) in advance before travelling. The car price is 250 baht /person/one way, and the boat price is 450 baht /person/oneway. The car will depart at 08.00 am to go to Pakbara pier. those who would like to travel or more information contact at

The van takes us to Pakbara pier for 2 hours.

After the baggage is received successfully, we walk forward of the entrance at the airport to take the van. The staff will inform our vehicle registration number.

When we got the boat ticket, we walk across the road to come to the centre of Pakbara pier distance about 200 meters with a service charge 20 baht/person.
There are a lot of shops at Pakbara pier, recommend you to buy some food or the essential staff before taking the boat, due to some snack on Koh Lipe are expensive more than mainland such as caned Pepsi cost 24 baht, but seven-eleven only14 baht.
Pakbara pier provides three telephone signals is available such as AIS, DTAC and TRUE.

After arrived at Pakbara pier. first, we should take the cue card from the counter, and checking the timetable boat.

the staff will provide a sticker and cue card to identify your destination (traveller have to attach a sticker on our shirt).

Let walk Pakbara pier about 300 meters.

after arriving at the pier then we should wait for the staff to announce according to the number of cue cards to take a boat.

on the way of Koh Lipe, the boat will stop at Koh Tarutao approximately 30 minutes.

Before entering the Trutao nation park .there is an entrance fee 100 baht/person for foreigners.

After payment The staff will give the ticket back, please keep the ticket be careful because it includes free diving.

The longtail boat ticket price is 50 baht/person. We can call (taxi boat) all boats can not stop at the beach. because it will destroy the coral. Then we will take a shuttle motor tricycle to resort Price is 50 baht/person.

In the evening, we come to walking street on the island for dinner. There are a lot of restaurant at walking street but the price quite expansive. Walking street open service on 18.00 – 24.00 pm.

At night. there is a fire show at Pattaya beach.

Art beach club. This restaurant has a great atmosphere. For those who interested can visit this place. After chilling, We will return to resort Because tomorrow has dive early

Koh hin son is one of Koh Adang Rawi. There are 6 islands nearby this island.

After dive at Koh hin son. The boat takes us a visit at Koh Rawi to have lunch .on this island has a waterfall and many of pigs.

the children are very cute. Then the staff will take us dive at Jabang Pinnade.

At Jabang Pinade .there are many tourist diving here.

Koh hin Ngam is the last island of our trip. people believe that if stacking many layers of stone and pray for your wish. You will get for your desired but now the island not allow stacking stones.

Take picture with black stone. Then we will return to the resort by longtail boat.

In evening. We come to have dinner at king crab restaurant at walking street.

Bake oyster with cheese, the price is 200 baht.

Tom yum seafood is delicious. So delicious

Barbecue price is 150 baht.

At Koh, Lipe roti is a popular food for foreigners and also Thai people.
