7 Beaches on Koh Rong
1. Saracen Bay Beach
Saracen Bay Beach is located in Koh Rong Samloem Island, Koh Rong province. This place attracts the tourists by a white sand coast and spreading 3 km of turquoise water. Even though the beach is very beautiful, they still have few tourists. That’s why it is suitable for finding a relaxing and chilling place like this. You can watch the sunset and play water sports here too if you want.
2. Lonely Beach
Lonely Beach is located in the north of Koh Rong. You can only reach here by the Lonely Beach boat because it’s too far from others. This place will give you a true beach life by how peaceful and quiet it is. The abundant nature here will attract you such as a white long sand, a sparkling clear sea, beautiful sunsets and stars in the night sky. You will definitely love it when you come!
3. Sok San Beach
Sok San Beach has a small fishing village located on the west side of Koh Rong island. There is white sand beach and turquoise sea water that lure the tourists to fish at the wood bridge long to the sea. That’s why this beach has a lot of fresh foods from restaurants there. You can continue to Koh Toch for 10 km. There will be more restaurants and bars there.
4. Palm Beach
Palm beach is located in the northern area close to Lonely Beach. The name of the beach already tells you that this beach has a lot of palm trees on a white tidy sand. You will have a simple life here on Palm Beach and rest from the outside world in a bungalow resort with a mosquito net. The activities that you can do are canoeing, diving, and chilling with BBQ.
5. White Beach
White Beach is located a few minutes away from the Koh Toch pier. This place is one of tourist attractions with soft white sand and clear blue water. You can find a lot of accommodations, restaurants, and bars here. Despite what I tell you, White Beach has little or no parties to keep a beach peaceful and clean. You have to see how white the sand is by yourself~
6. Lazy Beach
Lazy Beach is located in the southwestern side of Koh Rong Sanloem. The beach has tidy sand, surrounding green forest, and wide sea. The surrounding green forest is the main reason why it has limited accommodations and facilities. You can go diving and snorkeling here. This private beach will make you stunned by how beautiful the sunset landscape is.
7. Long Set Beach
Long Set Beach is located close to Koh Toch in Cambodia. It has a lot of luxurious resorts along the coast. You can see a white sand, palm trees, and clear sea. The landscape of Long Set Beach is proof of the name itself a lot. People believe that this name is named after the farmer who growed the plants behind the beach. That’s a fun story for this beautiful place.
