Note: For make a reservation, please book at least 3 days in advance before going on your trip cause a lot of passengers at Chumphon province.

Today, we are going on a trip by take a bus with Lomprayah. Lomprayah is an operator of high-speed catamaran ferries service from Chumphon route to Bangkok. Our schedule of bus reservation is 9.00 pm. The passengers need to check in at least 1.30 hrs. before departure cause many of passengers.

This is the first time with Koh Tao for us. We were so excited to prepare a luggage. Ferry Advice will send a detail code for check in by e-mail and also the passengers can show voucher for check in. After you make an online reservation and paid. You will be received a voucher with code within 72 hrs.

Before leaving, the bus will take time 8 hrs. to ferry terminal and will be arrived within at 7.00 am. (timetable of ferry).

After dinner, we were going to take a bus. The bus will stop opposite Wat Bowonniwet Vihara. The passengers should ask staff which the bus going to Koh Tao for making sure cause many bus going to others route. You have to sit on your seat that staff will specify at check in times. In case of the passengers go on the trip alone. You can request window seat. Staff will provide to you. However, if you book an online booking in the same time. When you check in, you will get a seat close to your partner.

This is inside area on a bus, restroom at the 1^st floor. You can take some food on the bus. Please avoid bad smell food cause public area.

We arrived at Lomprayah port at 4.30 am. Ferry will be departure at 7.00 am. So, you can take a rest here and order some food for your breakfast.

Travelers who drive private car. There are valet parking services (50 thb./ day). You can ask staff and pay while you check in and receive a ticket.

We have to arrive at check in counter at 6.30 am. Staff will reconfirm your ticket. If you would like a special seat you need to pay more such as VIP (100 thb), exclusive VIP (200 thb). Normally, your ticket is normal seat. If you did not inform staff and sit on VIP zone (2^nd floor), staff will request you to pay more.

Staff will provide sticker for taking ferry and specify VIP on your sticker. You need to put sticker on your shirts before leaving.

This is receipt of VIP seat. Please carefully keep it for reconfirm with staff on the ferry again.

The staff will announce to inform a passengers for taking a ferry. Almost of passengers will book from online booking cause so many passengers even if low season, working day. Normally, almost fully of ferry. Many passengers who did not book the ticket in advance. If ferry already full, staff will not allow the passengers to take a ferry because following regulation from Marine Department.

Staff will be double check your ticket before taking the ferry.

We were walking to take the ferry. The ferry stop quite far from check in counter.

The sunshine bridge was extending over to the ferry. So beautiful !

This is a ferry boat that will take  us to Koh Tao.

This is catamaran ferry which have a 3 floor. For the 2^nd floor is VIP zone. If you need to sit this zone, you have to pay more 100 thb/seat.

This is an exclusive VIP room, the seat seem wider than VIP room. If you need to sit this zone, you have to pay more 200 thb/seat.

This is the 1^st floor. This floor a lot of seats.

This is a roof-deck of the ferry. The passengers can walk to see a beautiful view from here.

This a mini bar on the ferry. You can buy some food from here. The price will expensive than others. On the ferry will have 6 restrooms. However, a quantity of restroom will different each ferry depend on size of ferry since 2-6 rooms. Every seat will have a life jacket.

This is Koh Nangyuan, some passengers will stay here. After stop Koh Nangyuan, the ferry will keep going to Koh Tao. So beautiful place !

Note: Koh Nangyuan will be not allowed to bring plastics bottle here.

This time is a rainy season. However, we can go on the trip at Gulf of Thailand all years. Today, the weather so hot but the water so clean and clear.

Within 10 minutes from Koh Nangyuan, we arrived at Koh Tao. Staff from your resort reservation will take care and take you to their resort. They will show name of resort on the tag for let you know them at port. However, in case of we make a resort reservation, we should call the resort for reconfirm our reservation.

The resort far from port around 4 kilometers.

The way to resort will have a non-asphalt road and asphalt road and direction were going to mountain. If you drive motorcycle, please be careful! Because the road is narrow.

We arrived Haadtien beach resort. We were check in and will stay here 2 days.

The room for 2 persons, restroom quite narrow, the window made from glass. Outdoor have a 2 seat for take a rest.

Resort have a 2 zone of swimming pool. The first is along to the beach and second is around living room. The beach at Koh Tao is really white sand and finely sand as a powder but less than Koh Nangyuan.

Relax area inside the resort. Haadtien beach resort is a beautiful area, wide and quite cool and pleasant place. Almost customer is a foreigners.

Foods and beverages area.

The coffee café nearly ferry port. We drive motorcycle around port for buying. The café have a 2 floor. We love 2^nd floor because not much people.

Mocha coffee and muffin. Really great ! I love it !

After coffee break, we drive motorcycle around island to survey. We stop at Sai Ri beach and have a dinner. The price is not expensive and tasty food.

Tom Yum Goong (Prawn spicy soup). Delicious !

Spicy salad with glass noodle. Yummy !

Grilled pork with Thai spicy sauce. We are so full. After have a dinner, we have to go back to our resort because a road is coming dark, we afraid that we will lost.

Good morning with yummy breakfast ! After take it, we will go to Koh Nang yuan. We are so excited.

First of all, we did not know how can we go to Koh Nang Yuan? We asked a resort’s staff. They said we can take private boat and the price is 3,500 thb/ 3 hrs. That’s too expensive. And they suggested us for another choice. Sai Ri beach will have a boat service from Koh Tao to Koh Nangyuan with the price 300 thb/person (return ticket). That’s good idea.

You have to specify times for return on your ticket such as 3.00 pm., 4.00 pm., 5.00 pm. After prepared our luggage, we leave to see Koh Nangyuan. So excited !

After we buy a tickets. Staff will take us to the boat and reconfirm about time for return again. We have to wait them at port for take us back. After 15 minutes, we arrived at Koh Nangyuan.

This is Koh Nangyuan. You will see a big stone that is a symbol of here. It’s very interesting.

We have to buy a tickets to go inside (Thai is 30 thb/person). Koh Nangyuan not allow to bring a plastics bottle to come inside. Staff will monitor to double check again. However, if you bring it, you can ask to leave with them and pick up when you return. This is regulations.

Good view at Koh Nangyuan. Feeling good !

It’s really beautiful white and finely sand beach. The water is also clean and clear. A weather so hot, that’s why you should take sunscreen to protect your skin on the trips.

If you love to sunbathe, this area will make you feel good.

This is foods and beverages streets. You can take a rest to have lunch. For another zone is buffet for diving packages.

Nangyuan fried rice is a recommended. Don’t miss it ! The price is 230 thb.

We stay here around 3 hrs. It’s time to return back to Koh Tao. We have to wait staff for take us back at port.

We arrived at Koh Tao in the evening. After that we drive motorcycle around and take my favorite roti. I really recommended. It’s really good !

The price at 7-11on the island will be expensive than other is normally. Because they will be plus transportation cost with the prices. After buying, we go to the resort to prepare a luggage for return back to Bangkok in the morning.

We will take a ferry to go back at 10.15 am. We wake up at 7.00 am., double check our luggage, have a breakfast. Resort will provide a car to take us to port for going back.

We arrived at port. This is center of port that will be fully of passengers. The restroom will have some charge.

We have to check in at Lomprayah counter no. 2 (Chumphon, Hua hin, Bangkok).

After that, we wait in line to take a ferry boat. A seat will be not fixed, so you can feel free to sit on the boat.

So many of passengers to wait in line !

We take time 1.45 hrs. for going back to Chumphon with VIP seat (pay more 100 thb).

Bye bye. See you again.

We arrived at Chumphon port. The weather so hot !

We have to check in for reconfirm the tickets. We arrived Chumphon port at 12.30 am. and will leave at 13.00 pm. by bus. So we will buy some food before leaving.

The bus arrived at port, we double check our luggage before leaving. The bus will stop at Thap Sakae, Prachuap Khiri Khan province for break times 30 minutes and will be arrived Bangkok at 21.00 pm. The bus will stop around Wat Bowonniwet Vihara.
