Review trip to Koh Kood 3-day 2night in the rainy season updated in 2024

Review of Koh Kood in the Rainy Season, 3 Days 2 Nights, Updated 2024. Koh Kood is the most beautiful sea in the Gulf of Thailand. Of course, the most beautiful time of Koh Kood is from October to around mid-May of every year. But that doesn't mean you can't travel during the rainy season.



This trip departed from Bangkok to Koh Kood, a total of 3 families, 4 days and 3 nights. As for us, we will stay separately at Paradise, 2 families, and Hi-Out and Koh Kood Resort.



The trip started with a departure from Bangkok-Trat, Laem Sok Pier. The ferry we chose to use was a large air-conditioned ferry from Boonsiri Company. The journey took about 1 hour.















The boat has three floors: a large air-conditioned room on the lower floor, an outdoor area on the second floor, and a deck on the third floor. The children chose to sit in the air-conditioned room. This trip, we had a small child with us, so fortunately, the child did not cry or fuss.



After getting off the boat, there will be a shuttle bus  take you from Ao Salad Pier to your resort on Koh Kood. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.



On this trip, we stayed separately at Hide Out while my brother's family went separately to stay at Koh Kood Paradise. We stayed at Hide Out for one night because there was only one room available. The rest of the nights were almost fully booked.



This trip we booked a seaview pool villa. This trip we stayed at Hide Out, 3 people, the room was extremely beautiful.

My brother and I stayed at Koh Kood Paradise Resort. This resort is located on Tapao Beach. It is characterized by its orange swimming pool. Young children can swim both on the beach and in the resort's swimming pool.



Koh Kood Paradise Resort is located on Tapao Beach. It is a soft white sand beach with some small rocks. If you are a family with young children, we recommend this resort. You can swim in the water in front of the resort for a long time.









A little kid, loves playing in the water. He plays all day and doesn't want to get out of the water. This trip is the first trip that we brought the kids to visit Koh Kood. The journey is long and we have to take a boat across the island. We visited during the rainy season. The weather is not too hot. There was a little rain, but there was no storm.



Visit Khlong Chao Waterfall. Anyone who comes to Koh Kood during the rainy season and doesn't visit Khlong Chao Waterfall is making a big mistake. Khlong Chao Waterfall is a famous waterfall on Koh Kood. To get there, you have to walk on foot for about 400 meters. The path is a small concrete path alternating with dirt paths. If you walk in not too far, you will find a stream.






The second resort of the trip, Koh Kood Resort, one of the five famous resorts on Koh Kood. Beautiful view, good atmosphere, with a view of a long wooden bridge stretching to the sea. The time we came was the rainy season, but it didn't rain every day. There was some rain, but the advantage was that it wasn't too hot when we traveled.















Check in at the counter before boarding the ship. Once you have checked in, the staff will print out your ticket. There will be a ship staff member waiting to check your ticket before boarding the ship.
