There are so many routes to travel to Koh Tao Island such as Chumphon, Samui, and Surat thani province currently using speedboats about 45-60 seats as the main service or on some days may change to catamaran ferries
Please note after covid pandemic now the ferry to Koh Tao has provided only one company named Lomprayah speed boat so it would be better to make the booking in advance as you can miss the boat if you walk in to buy the tickets at the pier. Lomprayah service with speed boat 45-60 seats or ferry depends on the number of passengers. Please reserve in advance

Lomprayah speedboat (Lom Lak Kirin speedboat)
Speedboats are approximately 45-60 seats, with 3-4 engines. The boats are arranged in rows. It takes 1 hour 45 mins from Chumphon Thung Makham Noi mainland pier to Koh Tao Island pier. There is a captain and crew on board with life jackets in every seat. Small pets can get on board, please prepare them with leash or bag. Pet expenses 200 baht per one per trip.
Lom Lak Kirin Ferry is a catamaran boat type which can accommodate 200-300 passengers depending on the size of each boat. There are 3 floors with an air-conditioned room. The VIP room can upgrade into private seats 100 baht and 200 baht per seat for additional cost or going out to take a wonderful view from the rooftop which is a very popular viewpoint. The catamaran is a beautiful boat, quite outstanding and is a passenger boat that can perfectly smooth travel along

Mae Haad Pier, Koh Tao
It is the main pier in Koh Tao which provides passenger boats from Koh Tao to various routes such as Samui, Phangan, Surat Thani. The main port on Koh Tao can be support a large number of tourists. Lomprayah Office is clearly located near Mae Haad Pier, Koh Tao
