Located in Hat Chao Mai National Park, Ko Libong Sub-district, Kantang District, Trang Province is the third largest island in Trang Province. It has a total area of 7.7 square kilometers and most of the area is mountainous the seaside is divided into 2 sides. The west coast is Morakot Cave which has no beach and accommodation and the east coast is a beach area. There are resorts, accommodations, restaurants, and a fisherman village at Ban Koh Mook, located outside the national park area. Most of the population are Muslims. They are engaged in rubber plantations, fishing, squid trapping, and pearl diving. Traveling to Koh Mook can take a boat from the mainland pier at Kuan Tung Ku Pier and Pak Meng Beach or you can charter a local long-tailed boat to Koh Mook

Upon arriving at Koh Mook Pier, you can find a sidecar motorcycle, or taxi service. There are also Motorcycles and bicycles for rent that can be contacted at the pier in Koh Mook. Motorbikes can be rented for 250 baht per day from PK Mini Mart located on the right-hand side of the pier. The Cars cannot be driven on the island as the roads are narrow. Getting to each beach can be a very short walk or renting a sidecar motorcycle available on the island. You can ask for a price that depends on the distance as well.

1. Emerald Cave

Koh Mook has the Emerald Cave on the west of the island. It is a cave with a small cavern to enter, only having to wait during the low tide. When going into the cave about 80 meters, you will reach the hall of the cave on the other side. which has white sandy beaches among cliffs. The reason why it is named Morakot Cave is that the seawater in the cave affects the light from outside making it visible in emerald color.

4. Koh Mook Viewpoint

The viewpoint is behind the fishing village of Koh Mook. You can hire a sidecar motorbike taxi to drop you off at the foot of the mountain and walk uphill into the mountains. Interspersed with natural forests and rubber plantation forests, a reasonable walking distance but it's worth it with a beautiful panorama viewpoint in Koh Mook. The view of the island and the blue sea in the foreground is impressive.
