Bangkok to Koh Rong Cambodia 3 Days 2 Nights

Traveling to Koh Rong, Cambodia, for 3 Days and 2 Nights Easily traveling from Thailand within 1 day, complete your travel with just this one convinient trip. Well, it might be very exhaunted, but the beautiful of  the Cambodian sea will heal yourself from tired.

Traveling Koh Rong Cambodia First, traveling in this trip aren't easy! You must planned your trip for entering and quiting Koh Rong. Regularly, you have to get on the boat from Sihanoukville and use 1 day to get to Koh Rong, because traveling from Thailand to Sihanoukville was already evening, so you have to wait for the boat in the next morning. You will have to pay for the accommodation to stay overnight also. October 2023, ferry company in Thailand opened new traveling destination Bangkok-Koh Rong Cambodia. Very wow, indeed! Arriving within 1 day, get on the bus from Khaosan road, bus and boat ticket straight to the island.



Let's start the wheels from Khaosan road at 06.00 am, only this round will get you to the Cambodia. The bus has 44 seats. The time usage is around 5 hours.



We have a banana cupcake and a bottle of water for every passenger who is traveling with our bus.



The bus will get you to Hatlek pier around 11.45 am to have lunch which is including in Bangkok-Koh Rong package. No need to pay more expenses.



After we finished lunch, we will get on the bus around 12.30 pm. The bus will get you to the Baan Hatlek border. You have to prepare your passport ready. For Thai people who is entering Cambodia for the first time, you have to pay 200 Baht each. You can pay them in Thai currency at the Cambodia immigration border.



After we passed the immigration border, you can get on the bus from our company as soon as you arrive because of the language barrier. hahahaha





The bus gets out from the border at 01.00 pm. If you have some spare time, you should buy the Cambodia simcard first. We recommended you to use Medfone. The signal might not as good as Thailand. You can buy and change your simcard here becuase they can speak Thai and can pay in Thai currency which is 120 Baht.

We sit on the boat around 30 minutes. The boat gets you to the Lotatray pier in Koh Rong. There will be a local taxi get us to the resort as soon as we arrive the pier. The day we traveled has a lot of tourists, so we had to wait for a local taxi to get us again. While we were waiting, the chaos happened, the hotel we booked was cancelled immediately. It was hard to contact anyone at this evening time. We tired from traveling, so we talked with the boatman and cleaners at the pier. They said that traveling in the island can be hard, so they helped us find the accommodation in the area of pier. They were very kind becuase they got us rice, crabs, and sea shrimps.





Smile a lot due to the delicious meal, even we got our rooms booking cancelled, but we can still found the good friendship from here.



The grilled seafood, tasty taste, from the fishing boat served to us right away.



I can't be sure if these are banana squids or not. They came with a tasty sauce. It was very lucky that the staff here can speak Thai, so we asked them. They said that they used to live in Koh Kood before. We were eating while chitchating together. The pier has a boat service for snorkeling one day trip, so we were agreed together that we will joined this trip. We slept at the pier that night. If we finished from our trip, we would go back to the accommodation.



Snorkeling trip, we went to take photos at the beach of Long Beach Resort, so we booked our accommodation here. The price was good, they gave us a discount from $90 to $60. In front of the beach had very white sands like Lipe from Thailand.



We were traveling the snorkeling trip with Sakorsiri company. They had lunch for us and the beautiful view at Sok San beach.



They also had a paddle board to play, but today, the waves were quite strong. We couldn't even stand up to play. The waves were strong, but the sea water is very clear.

In this trip, we stayed at Long Beach Resort. Well, the name told us that this place is a long beach and the sands are very tidy white.



The room is decorated in a cute style and clean. At first, I couldn't imagine how it will look like. When I came here, I had a feeling like WOW!



Thank you to Win, the staff of Sakorsiri company for helping us find the accommodation in the area of the pier. This trip had a bad luck for getting rooms booking cancelled, but we also had a good luck. If you want to travel to Koh Rong, you have to be careful for checking the room, so you won't get cancelled immediately like us.



We go back with a 15 seats speedboat. The tourists were mostly foreigners. We were only Thai people gang in this island.



Take a photo for memorial before go back. Once in a life time, we traveled here at Koh Rong, Cambodia. Easy travel, not hard at all, convinient traveling from Bangkok.



The boat get us from Lotatray pier, Koh Rong, to the Darasakor pier around 40 minutes. When a boat arrived, there will be a minibus waiting for us at the pier to get us to the Baan Hatlek border around 3 hours. The minibus will stop by to let us go to the toilet for 10 minutes. When we arrived at the Baan Hatlek border and passed the immigration border, there will be Boonsiri staff waiting for us at the border and get us to the Boonsiri Hetlek pier office. When we arrived at the office, we have to check in again to get a return ticket and a meal ticket from the package that we were booking.



The food is as the same as the entering island. The staff will prepare them for us. As long as you have a ticket, you can get food toeat.



The lunch before returning back to the Bangkok. This is a food we got at the pier. The bus will get out again from Hatlek at 01.00 pm to Bangkok around +- 5.30 hours. The bus will return you back to the Khaosan road.



The tourists were a lot today. They were mostly foreigners. The return bus always full of passengers. If you want to travel, you have to book in advance. We are highly not recommend for walk-in. If you missed and waiting for the transport bus, I guaranteed that you will arrive to Bangkok at the midnight or late midnight.



Between the way back to the Bangkok, the bus will stop by only once in the area of rest stop gas station around 10 minutes at Chantaburi then driving along to the Bangkok. You can tell the staff to stop by at the Ladkrabang Airport Link or Khaosan road.
