Travel from Phuket to Koh Samui is available via bus and ferry ticket from Phuket to Koh Samui. Phuket is a province in southern Thailand on the Andaman coast. Koh Samui is located in southern Thailand, but on the Gulf of Thailand.

Traveling from Phuket to Koh Samui is not possible by ferry because they are on opposite sides of Thailand, with a landmass separating the Andaman Sea from the Gulf of Thailand.

 



Departure by air-conditioned bus from Phuket, there is only one service per day at 9:30 AM. The bus departs for Surat Thani Province, then takes a boat from Donsak Pier, Surat Thani Province to Koh Samui.



Traveling from Phuket to Koh Samui, the bus will arrive at Donsak Pier, drop off passengers at Lomprayah Donsak Pier office, then passengers will travel by high-speed ferry, taking approximately 1 hour to Nathon Pier, Koh Samui.

The boats provided are high-speed catamarans with air-conditioned cabins, life jackets at every seat, and crew members to look after passengers throughout the journey.


Nathon Pier is a pier on Koh Samui. Ferries drop off passengers at this pier. Traveling from Nathon Pier to your resort on Koh Samui involves a van service for 150 baht per person to your accommodation, or you can call a private taxi.
