Review Koh Mak

Koh Mak is the small island located between Koh chang with Koh Kood about 38 kilometres. The feature of Koh Kood like a star shape. The length of the beach about 27 kilometres and the sand is colour yellow.

Koh Kham is a small private location near Koh mak that is an abundant island with white sand and crystal clear water.

For today we will review about a trip of Koh mak by speed boat in low season.

We started our Journey in Bangkok at 8.30 pm.

We choose the motorway Banbueng is the main road and run to Rayong province. There are many petrol pumps on the way for who need to relax.

After arriving at trad province at 02.00 am and we take rest at Tart City hotel.

Now we reached to nid bay pier that is free service of transportation or those who need to rent taxi from pier to resort 50 baht per person.

This is the road on the island, tourists who need to rent motorbike should be caution cat crossing on road in night Because a lot of cats on this island.

We arrived Ilanda resort, this resort not allow put shoes on entering the resort for cleanliness. The stuff of the resort will provide the shoes to customers put on within the hotel.

This hotel is convenient to service if compare with other small island such as tv, refrigerator, cabinet. which some hotels on this island don’t have.

The first restaurant on this island for our that it’s opposite of school. Suggest for those who interest this restaurant because is delicious food with both Thai and foreign food.

This is chicken coconut soup, the staff said that soup use coconut milk from Koh mak.

Today we have diving activities. the traveler should prepare before diving.

we will dive at the national park of Koh rang by Suan suk speed boat, the price of diving 750 baht per person (for Thai) and (for foreigner) price 950 baht per person for this price including snorkeling, life jacket, bottled water, fruit. The boat will take time to Koh rang about 40 minutes.

We arrived at Koh rang, which it’s a small island and no beach.

After diving at Koh rung. The staff let us relax here.

The hero of this trip is the suan suk speed boat that takes us to dive. the driver of speed boat will be a guide for us.

After dive, the boat takes us to Koh yak lek. this area is deep water for diving, which tourist come from many island
Such as Koh kood, Koh mak, Koh chang.

The driver took us to have lunch at Koh rang .the food will be arranged according to diving package. In this area, there are many shop and toilets for tourists.

The last island for diving of this trip is Koh yak Yai.

The excitement of this trip is the swarm herd fish or wall fish of this group that the fish are swimming around diver.

In general of herd fish live in sea far away but now the fish stay in this area because this area fertile, due to in past this area the coral bleaching occurred and fisher law close this area for 10 years.

Fisheries law and regulations announcing that coastal area for fishing is prohibited.

So beautiful with a lot of coral.

Coral at Koh rang . After driving, we will take the boat at Koh yak Yai depart at 13. 30 pm. To nid bay pier at 2.00 pm. Suansuk speed boat dropped us at Nid bay pier. We will take the boat to Koh Kham
depart at 3.00 pm.

There are rental service is available motorbike for those who wish to drive.

After we arrived at the resort. The staff will sell the ticket at counter to go koh kham.

Trip boat ticket price 200 baht, total net 300 baht per person.

We have received the ticket to Koh Kham. Ticket must keep be careful because the staff will check the ticket to confirmation and can exchange 1 bottle of soft drink.

We take 10 minutes from Koh mak to Koh Kham. for those who need paddle kayak, can contact staff and distance about 1 kilometer from Koh mak.

We reached to Koh Kham. Koh Kham is also known that pear of sea, although kof Kham is a small island.

The beach of Koh Kham. if low tide, people can walk on the sand.

At low tide, we can walk across the island.

Koh Kham has many back stones that may be the accumulation of sediment of many years.The sea is clear. It’s very beautiful.

This resort on Koh mak is popular for tourists to take the photo.

Koh Kham has many swings for tourist to sit or relax.

There are many shops on this island such as snacks, water, restaurant.

Now it’s time to return koh mak. we take the boat depart at 4.30 pm. That is the last round of time table.
